Penelope productions was formed primarily to produce 'Cooking with the Queen' a comedy Cooking Show conceived, written, produced, co-directed and performed by Lady Penelope (a pseudonym of Geoffrey Pimblett)

About Cooking with the Queen:

The Queen is rather portly and known for her frumpy dresses, the whole show is tongue in cheek, an hilarious cross between Dame Edna, Absolutely Fabulous and two Fat Ladies

She likes to cook for her Guests, she suffers with a new Turkey Recipe for the President of the United States, Rolled sole for the Archbishop of Canterbury and Paul McCartney's favourite Bread and Butter Pudding.

Our dear old Queen has a more conventional kitchen attached to the Royal Apartments, but occasionally she is allowed into the main kitchen of the Palace, but rarely, since our Queen is a messy cook, and has been known to cause damage with an exploding Haggis.

But she really is a good cook, trained by the Queen Mother, using many of her recipes. But she dose like to move with the times and create dishes that are low carb. and easy for those with a weight problem.

"Variety and moderation" are the key words, but you wouldn't think so whilst she is trusting a Pheasant or boning Venison.

Nevertheless, you will be riveted to your seat, waiting for the next faux pas, hoping to catch a glimpse of her Guest and perhaps another member of the Royal Family.

At the end of each program pray be upstanding for 'God Save The Queen' she certainly needs all the help she can get.
